Job Summary:
This role supports one of our State client's Data Modernization and Agile Transformation program. The Azure DevOps / DataOps Engineer will modernize the agency's Azure DevOps environment, integrate Databricks and Microsoft 365 tools, and implement CI/CD, automation, and DataOps practices to create a scalable, efficient technical foundation for analytics and data governance.


Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and enhance Azure DevOps including repos, pipelines, boards, permissions, service connections, and governance settings.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Databricks to support notebook versioning, deployment workflows, automated jobs, and code traceability.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for data engineering, analytics, and automation workflows.
• Develop Power Automate flows to streamline approval processes, notifications, submissions, and governance tasks.
• Connect Azure DevOps with SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI to create unified workflows and reporting capabilities.
• Implement environment standards, branching strategies, repository structures, and reusable templates.
• Create and maintain ADO dashboards for delivery tracking, sprint visibility, and governance reporting.
• Build technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration guidelines to support knowledge transfer.
• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and staff training as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Agile, Governance, and SharePoint teams to ensure full integration across tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer, DataOps Engineer, or similar technical role.
