About the Opportunity:

An experienced Azure DevOps Engineer is needed to lead the design, enhancement, and implementation of enterprise-level DevOps solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Azure DevOps and collaboration with architecture, application, and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize DevOps enhancements such as Blue-Green deployments to improve reliability and deployment efficiency.

• Partner with application architects to review and validate solutions for seamless integration and performance.

• Assess cross-application and cross-platform dependencies and resolve conflicts from initiatives including ERE EKS migrations, AIX-to-Linux transitions, and datacenter migrations.

• Provide recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for smooth implementation.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues affecting pipelines, infrastructure automation, and application deployments.

• Perform root-cause analysis to minimize escalations.

• Document design changes, enhancements, best practices, and system impacts.

• Communicate updates to engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.

• Analyze infrastructure upgrades (OS, platform, cloud services, compute, storage, networking) and assess their application impacts.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure compatibility and performance continuity.

Requirements:

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, YAML, Git, ARM/Bicep/Terraform, and release orchestration.

• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS) and deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling).

• Strong understanding of Linux environments and migration workflows; AIX to Linux experience is a plus.
