About The Role
The Business Controls Analyst I position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with City National Bank's Business Control Managers and senior analysts within the Consumer Banking division. The role involves partnering with the Risk Framework leadership team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and implementing controls necessary for regulatory adherence, identifying issues, designing solutions, and monitoring control effectiveness. This role requires a proactive approach to aligning business objectives with the bank's risk appetite and limits, supporting a strong control environment, and fostering a culture of risk awareness. The analyst will contribute to various risk management activities, including compliance assessments, control development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, playing a critical role in maintaining the bank’s operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
