Summary
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Detect, and report system errors and discrepancies, and analyze and develop specifications for correcting errors. Assist in maintaining interfaces between commercial system vendors. Performs functionality and system testing to simulate end-user experience. Perform exploratory testing and analysis for quality assurance before an application is released, to determine if the programming fulfills the requirements listed in the specifications of the new product. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the insurance field.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Include the following:

• Interpret and comprehend the commercial products that the manager has assigned.
• Participate in meetings with Business Managers where evaluation of system revisions are being discussed
• Support for rollout of new carriers and states, including coordinating with all functional departments within Arrowhead (Premium Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Mailroom, Imaging, Creative Communications, Marketing Operations, etc.)
• Identify and propose changes to systems and workflows based on areas in which are deemed inefficient, ineffective, costly to run, or time senstive
• Lead facilitated sessions with business users to identify system enhancements.
• Document and gain sign-off on business requirements
• Track project progress through project schedules, project reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and other reporting mechanisms
