We are hunting for a heavy-hitting Azure expert to architect and optimize the mission-critical cloud infrastructure that supports over 10 million customers across the East Coast and Midwest.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you won’t just be maintaining servers; you’ll be the technical backbone of a massive energy transformation. You will leverage PowerShell, Ansible, and Azure Databricks to drive high-performance data analytics and secure, scalable cloud architectures within a complex enterprise environment.

The Role

• Lead the design and implementation of complex hybrid-cloud systems, focusing on Microsoft Azure environments for large-scale data analytics (Data Lake, Synapse, SQL DB).

• Architect and deploy automation solutions using PowerShell and Ansible to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with IT Architecture Review Boards to define long-term strategy and deliver logical/physical architecture diagrams for secure application hosting.

• Provide high-level technical mentorship to junior engineers and interns while leading peer code reviews and deep-dive troubleshooting sessions.

• Drive financial optimization by performing cost and capacity management analysis to ensure cloud spend aligns with business value.

What You'll Need

• 4-9 years of deep experience in IT infrastructure design, cloud computing, and system administration (minimum 4 years with a CS/IT degree).

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Azure, specifically within Data & AI stacks (Azure Databricks, Fabric, Azure ML) and security governance.
