## Position Description
We are seeking highly qualified candidates for a Data Analyst position in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences department at the Research Institute at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Here's What You'll Get to Do:
- Assist with database design, in conjunction with Principal Investigator and Database Analyst. Ensure the quality of the database and supervise database cleaning. Perform/assist with data entry and analysis, including planning.
- Develop analytical methods for data and information processing
- Prepare datasets for data validation
- Participate in the development of a program centered on machine learning with an initial focus on data from the electronic health records
- Collaborate with the machine learning specialist to ensure accuracy of the data and analysis
- Help to define and improve our internal standards for coding style, maintainability, and best practices
