Data Analyst - Product
will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting product data to support key business decisions. You will work closely with product teams to track product performance, monitor user behavior, and assist in generating actionable insights that drive product improvements. This role involves supporting data collection, performing exploratory analysis, and contributing to data-driven solutions that optimize product features and enhance user experience. In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model. This role is open to applicants located in Toronto, Vancouver or remote throughout Canada where we comply with our legal hiring entities. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Analytics - Product.


What You’ll Do

• Data Collection & Cleaning: Collect and organize product-related data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Product Performance Reporting: Generate and maintain reports and dashboards that track product KPIs, such as user engagement, retention, feature adoption, and conversion rates.
• Exploratory Data Analysis: Analyze product data to uncover insights into user behavior, product usage, and opportunities for product optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers and other cross-functional teams to understand product analytics needs and deliver insights that support product development and strategy.
• Support Product Decisions: Provide actionable insights based on product data analysis, enabling product teams to make informed decisions that drive product improvements.
