What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead and grow the electrical engineering function by developing standards and mentoring engineering staff
• Oversee and participate in multi-discipline project teams to develop electrical design packages and technical specifications
• Manage the design of electrical equipment, power distribution, and control systems
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards in electrical designs for municipal infrastructure projects
• Communicate engineering evaluations and maintain coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering design experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• Proficiency in software tools such as Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC, SKM Power Tools, and AutoCAD
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, as driving is essential for the position
