About the Role

One of our clients is hiring an early-career Software Engineer to help build and enhance modern video playback solutions used across web, mobile, and connected devices. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy learning, collaborating with experienced teammates, and contributing to real-world streaming media experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain video playback features across platforms
• Improve performance, stability, and overall user experience of video players
• Troubleshoot and debug issues within the video playback pipeline
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative engineering discussions
• Reproduce reported issues and support QA and operational teams
• Document technical work to support knowledge sharing
• Stay current with trends in streaming media and playback technologies

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 0–2 years of software development experience (including internships or academic projects)
• Experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Java, or C++
• Familiarity with web, mobile, or streaming technologies is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow
