Location: Seattle, Washington, 98101 | Salary: $105,400 - $142,600 annual

Hyra is working on behalf of Boeing to hire for the position of Associate or Mid-Level Software Security Engineer. This role supports secure coding, certification, and software assurance across the Boeing Commercial Airplanes portfolio. The selected candidate will drive the implementation of product security and resiliency throughout the software development lifecycle to protect the aviation ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

• Assess software subsystem adversity and manage risk according to industry and government standards

• Develop security requirements and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities

• Perform requirements verification on software security products using inspection, analysis, and testing

• Execute CVE analysis and coordinate mitigations to reduce impacts on system operations

• Deploy DevSecOps best practices into program pipelines, including tool selection and configuration

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field

• Experience developing security requirements and performing verification for software products

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and the integration of security tools into development pipelines

• Ability to analyze common vulnerabilities and exploits to implement effective mitigation strategies

• Eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable regulatory requirements
