Hyra is working on behalf of Client Server to hire for the position of Junior Backend Software Engineer Rust - Trading. This role involves developing high-performance backend systems for a profitable High Frequency Trading firm specializing in crypto markets. You will work within a technical team to build and optimize low-latency trading infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining high-frequency trading systems using Rust

• Optimizing backend services for low-latency performance in crypto markets

• Collaborating with senior engineers to design scalable system architectures

• Troubleshooting and debugging complex distributed systems

• Participating in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment

What we're looking for

• Strong programming skills in Rust or a desire to specialize in it

• Solid understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems

• First-class academic record in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Familiarity with high-performance computing or financial trading environments

• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for security vetting if required
