Position Overview
Ashbourne Enterprises is seeking a People Operations Manager to build and lead the systems that support the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to training, development, and organizational support.
This is a hands-on role for a builder. The People Operations Manager will create structure, improve hiring outcomes, strengthen onboarding and training, and ensure consistent, high-quality people processes across our operating businesses. This role partners closely with leadership and serves
as a trusted operational resource, ensuring our organization grows with clarity, consistency, and care.
This position reports directly to the HR Director.
Core Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
- Own and manage full-cycle recruiting for non-executive roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define role expectations, competencies, and hiring strategies
- Build and maintain consistent, structured hiring processes and tools
- Monitor hiring effectiveness, including time-to-fill, hiring quality, and candidate experience
Onboarding & Training
- Design and implement structured onboarding programs that set employees up for success
- Ensure onboarding processes are consistent, complete, and aligned across departments
- Develop and support training programs for compliance, operational standards, and leadership development
- Partner with managers to improve early employee engagement and retention
Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and workplace concerns
- Support performance management processes and documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR workflows in partnership with Payroll and Benefits
- Ensure HR processes are compliant, organized, and operationally effective
