We’re seeking a Product Marketing Competitive Intelligence Manager to lead competitive research and insights that shape Aptean’s market position and empower our sales teams to win. You’ll analyze competitors, uncover trends, and deliver actionable intelligence that informs go-to-market strategies and sales enablement across our global portfolio.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll own Competitive Intelligence for key product lines, driving research, analysis, and content creation that positions Aptean against competitors. You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy teams to embed insights into core business functions, craft compelling narratives for competitive scenarios, and deliver enablement tools that improve win rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for gathering and analyzing competitor and market intelligence.
- Monitor analytics and ERP competitors’ business and product strategies; synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Identify emerging trends, strengths, and weaknesses across competitor offerings and GTM motions.
- Translate complex technical and market signals into concise, sales-ready messaging.
- Create high-impact competitive tools such as battlecards, field guides, FAQs, and executive presentations.
- Embed competitive insights into sales plays and enablement programs to directly support deal closures.
- Craft compelling narratives that help sales teams position Aptean effectively against competitors.
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Customer Success teams to integrate competitive intelligence into business decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership; influence strategic roadmaps and GTM tactics.
- Deliver timely, high-quality CI projects that drive measurable improvements in win rates.
