About the Opportunity:

The Senior Technical Project Manager will apply agile and traditional project management principles to oversee moderate-to-high complexity projects with technical or software implementation components. The role involves project planning, execution, control, and closure, ensuring solutions meet business objectives on time and within budget. This position acts as the communication liaison among project teams and stakeholders including Program Management, Project Sponsors, Product Management, and Engineering, and develops plans to monitor solution adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide project planning, monitoring, and implementation to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion aligned with business goals.

• Serve as key project contact alongside Project Leader; request resources based on required skills and communicate commitment levels to resource managers.

• Stay current on project management skills and educate team members on principles, methods, processes, and tools; contribute to performance appraisals.

• Define execution plans based on project scope, timeline, budget, and resources.

• Coordinate daily/weekly team assignments and monitor progress against work plans for time, cost, and quality compliance.

• Assess scope and schedule changes; recommend adjustments to project leadership.

• Provide timely project communications including status reports to teams and stakeholders.

• Coordinate day-to-day execution with remote technical team members.

• Manage external vendor cooperation as needed.

• Collaborate with business, functional partners, and technology leadership on feature backlog and requirements.

• Guide technology discussions and strategy aligning with business needs and reference architecture.

• Support execution teams by resolving roadblocks and coordinating interdependent tasks.

• Manage project risks, scope changes, and non-standard events throughout project lifecycle.
