leWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Software Engineer to join our dynamic Data Science team at MassMutual. This full-time hybrid role offers the opportunity to work from Springfield, MA, NYC, NY, or Boston, MA, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-office collaboration. As a core member of our Research & Development organization, you will be instrumental in developing systems, infrastructure, and applications that support our enterprise-wide Data Science and AI initiatives. Qualificat

ionsThe ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience working with data and complex computational systems, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and data engineering. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Extensive proficiency in Python programming, backend application development with API services, and SQL query writing for relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is essential. Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, Lambda), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is also required.
