Leidos is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team, creating unique solutions for complex missile defense systems. If you're passionate about developing cutting-edge software in a Linux environment using C++ and Python, and thrive in an Agile Scrum setting with DevSecOps, this role is for you!


The Role

• Develop software for complex missile defense systems in a Linux environment.
• Utilize C++ and Python to build innovative solutions.
• Work within an Agile Scrum team, leveraging Jira and Gitlab.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement desired software functionality.
• Employ software best practices including peer reviews and unit testing.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or MS with 10+ years.
• Strong competency in C/C++ and Python.
• Proven experience with the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Gitlab, and developing in a Linux environment.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess/maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
