The Opportunity: Own Complex Systems and Drive Product
We seek a
Software Engineer
to collaborate with our CTO and a small team of highly skilled engineers to design, build, and support our flagship price modeling product. This is a chance to move beyond implementing features and to
own complex technical problems end-to-end
, from initial scoping to user adoption.


You'll focus on your
areas of strength whether
that's
frontend architecture
,
backend infrastructure
, or
data systems while
having the opportunity to dive deep into new technical areas. We believe in
engineer-led product development
, meaning you'll directly engage with customers to understand their pain points and shape the product vision.


Qualifications
About You
You're a strong engineer who thrives on tackling
big, ambiguous problems
and is excited by the challenge of building a product from 0 to1.


Core Requirements

• 5+ years post-graduate experience building and deploying production software systems.
• Strong system design skills for complex software.
• Mastery of one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
• Depth in at least one area of software development (e.g., infrastructure, backend, frontend).
• Mission alignment: Driven to make the grid cleaner and more efficient.
• Excited to take on work outside the "usual" engineering scope, such as product strategy.
• Must be based in the US.
