What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage the project team and oversee overall project delivery for financial operations at NYSDOT
• Collaborate with NYSDOT Finance Office to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Report project status and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, documenting key information
• Develop a detailed project approach and resource plan in coordination with NYSDOT staff
• Provide analysis and support for ongoing and future projects related to NYSDOT's financial systems

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a project manager leading complex financial operations projects
• Current experience providing project oversight services for state government organizations
• Proven ability to manage multi-year, multi-stakeholder initiatives with significant components
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and standard project management tools
