General Description/Scope Of Responsibilities (Internship)
The R&D Quality Team is looking for a Business Operations Intern to support the Pharmacovigilance Quality Assurance (PVQA) team within the R&D Quality organization, with a strong focus on patient safety and compliance across global Pharmacovigilance (PV) modules.


Responsibilities
This role offers a unique opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact in a safety-critical environment by strengthening operational excellence, compliance readiness, and quality oversight. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and optimize day-to-day business operations to ensure efficient functioning across RDQ and PVQA teams.
• Develop and maintain operational frameworks, governance structures, and standard processes that enhance consistency, compliance, and quality across global PV activities.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and process improvement, enabling leadership to focus on strategic and risk-based priorities.
• Partner with Audit & Inspections teams to provide operational coordination, documentation support, and inspection readiness activities as required.
• Support oversight activities that prioritize patient safety and adherence to global PV regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain and strengthen a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across RDQ.
