Position Purpose
To maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly financial statements and participate in special projects

In this Accountant I role, you will
- Account for cash through cash deposits, cash applications, collection and cash forecasting
- Process payment and void requests
- Respond to inquiries about payments
- Assist with preparing financial reports and supporting month-end close processes
- Evaluate variances, account balances, etc.
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Highly Preferred
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years' experience in accounting, preferably in health care industry
