In this pivotal role, you will lead a global engineering team in developing innovative cloud-based solutions for loan servicing and mortgages. You'll leverage modern technologies to create scalable software solutions while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring top-notch delivery standards. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the architectural direction and fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.


Accountabilities

• Lead a global cross-functional engineering team to deliver scalable SaaS solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Own technical design decisions and guide development teams through AGILE SDLC.
• Oversee architectural design, coding standards, DevOps integration, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to align technology with business strategy.
• Lead Engineering teams in Increment and Sprint Planning.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, scalability, and performance.
• Drive modernization and cloud migration initiatives for legacy systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a high-performance culture.
• Own delivery metrics with Agile delivery managers, resource planning, and risk management.
• Experience leading API Governance initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in technical leadership/management roles.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and SaaS platforms.
• Strong experience in the mortgage or financial services domain.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Node.js, React, PostgresSQL).
• Experience with API development and integrations with third-party platforms.
