Job Summary
The Senior Accountant ensures accurate and timely financial reporting by managing key accounting processes, tax compliance, and supporting audits. This role plays a critical part in month-end and year-end closings, and maintaining compliance with internal and external requirements.


Things you’ll be working on:
General Accounting

• Prepare and update balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including accruals, cut-offs, and variance analysis

Revenue Accounting

• Perform service and license revenue cut-off procedures to ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Review and post revenue-related entries in compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets

• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliation
• Conduct annual physical inventory of fixed assets and ensure alignment with accounting records

Accounts Receivable & Banking

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash forecasting
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Tax Compliance

• Manage US Sales Tax and Canadian VAT processes, including preparation and submission of tax declarations
