Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for liaising with tax equity investors, cash equity investors, and debt partners for residential solar funds. This position will work cross functionally between Accounting, Finance, and Solar Operations to provide required and ad hoc reporting to investors and lenders. A successful candidate will have strong data-driven financial analysis skills, while also possessing the ability to present findings to key stakeholders.


Primary Responsibilities:
Areas of initial primary responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Track, compile and help prepare monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables for internal stakeholders, and external debt and equity partners
• Work alongside Structured Finance team to transition post-transaction close ownership of Fund compliance to Financial Reporting team
• Manage Fund legal documents to meet all stated requirements, including distributions of available cash flow, reporting deliverables, debt service coverage ratio calculations, etc.
• Develop annual budgets and track budget-to-actual performance of solar funds, while analyzing and explaining variances.
• Create detailed process flows, and identify efficiencies where possible, to streamline recurring tasks.
• Track investment returns and report to syndicated partners for IGS’ investments in tax equity partnerships.
• Provide support as necessary to accounting team during year-end fund audits.
• Facilitate the onboarding of additional portfolios of solar projects.
• Manage regular debt service, financing compliance, investor communication.
• Field questions from investors on financial and operational asset performance. Complete ad hoc reporting and perform financial analysis for special projects as needed.
