Senior Frontend Developer

About this role

This role blends email template engineering (high-quality, reusable HTML components with reliable rendering across clients/devices and light/dark mode) with platform UI work (improving the Growth Admin Portal experience for internal users). While this is a front end role, we value engineers who are frontend-leaning but comfortable in full-stack environments, and can operate in enterprise-scale, high-volume contexts. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong ownership and autonomy, communicate clearly across teams, have experience operating with senior/veteran teams, and can drive execution forward in a fast-paced environment.

Core Requirements:

• 5+ years of front end engineering experience, with significant focus on HTML email development
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, including table-based layouts and inline styling techniques
• Deep understanding of email client rendering quirks and cross-client compatibility strategies
• Proven experience implementing dark mode support in email templates
• Hands-on experience with email testing and rendering tools (e.g., Inbox Monster, Litmus, or Email on Acid)
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React preferred) for platform UI work
• High-agency, self-starter mindset with the ability to self-service most questions using AI and internal resources
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong written communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and maintain HTML email templates and reusable components optimized for marketing campaigns
• Ensure consistent rendering across all major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Yahoo, etc.) and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
