About this role

Precious metals dealer is seeking a COO to join their office in Los Angeles.


Responsibilities

• Own all post-sale operations from receipt of funds through liquidation and payment authorization
• Lead operations, IRA, compliance, and client services teams; ensure all processes are documented, compliant, and followed
• Act as final operational gatekeeper to confirm accuracy, compliance, and “okay to pay”
• Maintain full visibility into revenue, transactions, and workflows (e.g., IRA closings, deal status, values)
• Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks; build scalable systems to support growth
• Partner closely with the Owner and CFO on operational strategy and execution
• Be highly present with Sales and Operations to ensure exceptional end-to-end client experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 10+ years of finance operations experience required
• Background in financial services, fintech, or AdTech preferred; precious metals experience not required
• Senior operations leader in a high-volume, compliance-heavy, revenue-driven environment
• Experience managing operations, sales-adjacent workflows, and compliance teams
