Manager, Clinical Strategy

About this role

We are seeking a
Manager, Clinical Strategy
to support Medscape Medical Affairs in translating therapeutic area (TA) intelligence into actionable opportunities that drive client engagement and business growth.

This role will focus on converting scientific insights into targeted outreach and lead generation, helping maximize the impact of our congress presence and prospecting activities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong scientific understanding, excellent communication skills, and an interest in applying medical intelligence to client outreach and education.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Outreach

• Leverage TA intelligence provided by Medical Strategy Directors to craft scientifically accurate and compelling first-contact prospecting emails designed to secure meetings at or following major congresses for Sales.
• Support sales colleagues with cold outreach to new contacts, using data-driven insights to improve engagement.
• Contribute to the creation of proposals for hands-off educational projects (e.g., CREATE programs, journal clubs) that serve as lead-generation tools.

2. Congress Preparation & Support

- Drive an increase in
pre-booked congress meetings
by ensuring each TA receives focused attention at least twice annually.
- Develop detailed
target lists
by client, brand, and contact, complete with photos and profiles, to be used by Sales and Strategy Directors to enable more informed onsite interactions.
- Maximize ROI on congress investment and TA intelligence by ensuring insights generated by Strategy Directors are activated through outreach and prospecting.

3. Collaboration with Sales & Strategy

• Work closely with Medical Strategy Directors to convert scientific reviews into actionable outreach opportunities.
